  • Can I just take the seminars without signing up for the whole package?

    Absolutely! There are many opportunities to take the seminars throughout the spring and summer. I recommend taking the Personal Essay Seminar first.

  • Do you offer in-person sessions?

    YES! I am happy to offer in-person individual sessions in the LA area. If you are interested in in-person sessions please email me. Prices for individual sessions range based on location. If you wish to add in-person sessions to your College Summer Playbook package please email me about pricing. (All seminars will be on Zoom.)

  • Why does the package cost more than 10 individual sessions?

    In addition to the 10 individual sessions, the package includes two seminars which I estimate to be the equivalent of three full individual sessions each with the added benefit of hearing from peers. In addition, I host weekly office hours where parents and students are welcome to ask questions and get additional feedback.

  • Can you look at my essay during office hours?

    I would love to! To be fair to all students, what we are able accomplish during office hours will depend on the number of people attending. Aka I might not be able to go in depth, but I can certainly answer specific questions. And who knows, maybe you’ll be the only one there and get an extra individual session…

  • If I am already doing individual sessions, do you recommend the Group Seminars?

    It’s up to you! Depending on how many individual sessions you have taken, you will have at least some of the information from the seminars. If you have questions about if CSP would be helpful for you, email me!

  • Will I finish my applications by the end of the summer?

    It’s definitely possible to finish your applications over the summer. While individual pace may vary, if you are not absolutely finished, you will have a solid plan for how to continue.
